What is a Dynasty League?
A dynasty style fantasy football league is a league where you retain most or all of your players from year to year. This creates an environment which is very different from that of a redraft league. By enabling team owners to keep players and build a team over time, there is a much stronger sense of team ownership, and success is achieved with a greater sense of satisfaction.
Format
A SuperFlex, .5 PPR League is a fantasy football league with specific rules and settings. In this league, managers have the flexibility to start a quarterback in the flex position, along with running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends. Additionally, each reception by a player is awarded half a point, which adds value to pass-catching players. One unique feature of this league is the implementation of a third-round reversal draft order. In a third-round reversal, the draft order is reversed in the third round, creating a fairer distribution of top-tier players among all teams. This rule promotes more balanced competition and strategic decision-making during the draft. If you have any further questions or need clarification on the rules and settings of the SuperFlex, .5 PPR League, please don't hesitate to reach out to the league commissioner. They will be able to provide additional information and assistance.
Drafts
The Startup Draft will be discussed, and agreed upon, by all users of the league. Rookie Drafts takes place 2 weeks after the conclusion of the NFL Draft. M4D utilizes a "slow draft" where each team is allowed 8 hours, per pick. The order is set in the following manner. Play-off Teams are ordered in the reverse order of the year's playoff standings. Non-play-off Teams are numbered inverse of the MaxPointsFor of each team. During the draft, teams will be allotted a maximum of 8 hours, per draft selection. The draft will pause during the hours of 10PM - 10 AM EST. Starting this year (2023), the consolation bracket winner in M4D overflow Dynasty League will be awarded the 2.13 pick in the subsequent rookie draft. This reward will be given every year.
Buy In
Buy in is due 2 weeks before the start of the year's respective draft. $25 per year - $50 is due before startup to cover first two years buy-in. This helps enable future pick trading and ensure members do not sell all their assets to go for broke and then leave the league. Any trades that included picks outside the current 2 year draft they will incur half payment towards the prospective picks’ buy-in year. Once half the buy-in is paid the team is eligible to trade ALL owned picks from that same year. The same rule applies to each future year, respectively.
Payout
$250 - 1st Place
$25 - Regular Season Winner
$25 - 2nd Place
Trading
All trades execute immediately. The Commissioner will not “push” trades. There is no "Review Window." Anyone with concerns regarding trades that are potentially detrimental to the health of the league, or owners intentionally stacking one team, should raise those with the league, and we can speak on it. You can report this via the Feedback Form.

Other General Information
Upon the completion of a year, rosters will be locked (no Player adding; outside of trading) until buy-in is received from all team(s) - with a drop dead date set as league Draft Day. If buy-in is still not received, Commissioner discretion will be used to decide if the season will begin as planned, or if a team should be orphaned.
NO player or team may barter/trade with assets OUTSIDE of the Dynasty League.
Taxi Squad: Serves as a practice squad specifically designed for rookie and second-year players in fantasy football. Before the start of the season, owners must assign these players to the taxi squad. Once the season begins, the taxi squad "locks," meaning the players remain there for the entire season unless the owner decides to promote them. However, if a player is promoted, there are two requirements: either the owner must have an available roster spot or they must cut a player to make room, and the promoted player becomes ineligible for the taxi squad for the rest of the year.
The consolation bracket winner in dynasty fantasy football will be awarded the 2.13 pick in the subsequent rookie draft. This reward will be given every year, adding an extra incentive for managers to compete and build a winning team. Get ready to vie for that prized rookie pick and take your fantasy football managerial skills to the next level!
